As a leader

I am not a natural leader. However, because I am a hardworking person with experience in a broad variety of crafts I have been given my fair share of leading positions. I enjoy working in an equal position with other team members and I dislike leading a group that isn't as determined or dedicated as I am.

As a subordinate

I am a fast learner and flexible. I have done eight hour days in office, 4 hour days in a store and 12 hour days four weeks straight on a tug. I am used to travelling for work and living weeks in almost total isolation with only my co-workers as company. I value my own thoughts and opinions but I've also learned that working with some people will require keeping them to myself.

People skills

Around 60 percent of the people who meet me for the first time dislike me. This is a an actual calculation based on the feedback I got from some first year students I was working with for six months. Instead of spending my time on social networking I like to help my friends out with real problems like flat tires or electrical work. When with my real friends I don't have to watch my mouth or censor my opinions.

Career

According to a survey by Digium in 2007, I am a career oriented person. I long to prosper in my work and consider the possibility of advancing essential when choosing a job. Of all the humanities students that took part in the survey, only 20% were categorized as career oriented.
